Job Description

A friendly, forward thinking firm of Chartered accountants in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire are seeking an Accounts or Business Services Semi Senior to join their team. Part time will also be considered.

The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified or may have started studying towards ACA or ACCA (QBE also considered) from a practice background and will be experienced in the preparation of year end statutory accounts, VAT, bookkeeping, tax compliance and dealing with client queries. Audit experince would be a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Preparation and review of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Preparation of management accounts
Assisting on audits (optional)
Liaising with HMRC
Dealing with ad hoc client queries

Requirements:

AAT Qualified/ ACA/ ACCA Student
AAT Student/ QBE also considered
Practice experience is essential
