Job Description

The Portfolio Manager will lead several project and programme managers to deliver strategic Change. They will work with Client and Internal Teams and Stakeholders to deliver controlled and efficient implementation of new client solutions and / or internal changes to time, cost and quality objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic thinker and strong leader to really make an impact. You will have the autonomy to create a clear vision and roadmap for the future, as well as build a wider team around you.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Prince 2 or equivalent professional qualification • Excellent commercial understanding and ability to impact assess changes across a portfolio • Ability to build effective working relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure that projects and programmes are delivered in line with the defined requirements • Ability to challenge the status quo with the intention of improving internal processes and procedures • Experience of working in Waterfall and Agile environments • Project scheduling, including managing resource requirements, using MS Project • Managing and delivering projects in line with cost, quality and time constraints • Experience of leading, managing and developing project and programme managers • Experience of coaching and developing team members • Experience of managing resources within a project and programme management environment • Experience in monitoring and reporting against departmental performance and quality KPIs
