Job Description

The Role:

Primary responsibilities will be to develop and enhance the configuration & the development of ABAP, in S/4 HANA/ ERP. This includes:

- Provide ABAP Application Configuration & Development responsibilities.

- Provide advice and recommendations in relation to implementation & deployment of custom ABAP objects and Enhancements.

- Provide solutions in relation to the core ABAP solutions in S/4 HANA.

- Provide guidance, support or development activities to the implementation project team in relation to ABAP.

- Provide solution with high quality in full and on time.

Key Skills:

- Design, develop, and ABAP applications that includes custom & standard

- Deliver using SAP tools –all the workbench tools used for ABAP application development.

- Provide estimates for design and implementation efforts involved in delivering the work

- Develop RICEF objects in ABAP

- Contributes to the development of process standards and evaluation of tools as needed

- Investigate and resolve problem identified technical issues in ABAP

- Produce high quality documentation such as Solution documentation, Technical specifications and Test documents etc.

- Work to planned timescales with superior quality

- Escalate problems, issues and risks promptly where appropriate.

- Play an active part in the team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Knowledge and experience of business processes associated SAP S/4 HANA - In-depth operational knowledge of ABAP development and methodologies of S/4 HANA - Detailed SAP knowledge of ABAP, including several of the following areas: - Functional Modules/BADI’s & BAPI’s - SAP script, SMARTFORMS and ADOBE Forms - Object Oriented Programming - S/4 HANA extensibility options such as In-App extensions. - oData Development - CDS & BOPF - Strong Debugging skills - ABAP on HANA desirable - Knowledge and experience of business processes associated SAP Finance and ABAP
