Job Description
Setting up new client Accounts
Credit checking
Preparations and Producing invoices
Purchase ledger duties for suppliers and subcontractors
VAT tasks
Providing creditors with VAT receipts
Dealing with invoicing queries in an effective and timely manner.
Housekeeping of in-house systems.
Maintaining confidentiality of the department and using discretion where necessary.
Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and responding in a timely fashion to internal and external communications
Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop the positive progressive culture
Observing and complying with company procedures
Present Accounts Information to the directors
Collate financial Data

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good Mathematical Skills. Good working knowledge of Sage and Microsoft packages (Excel). Exceptionally high standards with meticulous attention to detail. Highly organized and a ‘completer-finisher’. A flexible team player with the ability to work proactively. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). A self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude and a down to earth approachable manner. A problem solver with the ability to assume responsibility and act on own initiative. Customer focused. Ability to work accurately in a busy, demanding environment, whilst adhering to stringent deadlines. Experience: Purchase ledger: 1 year (Preferred)
