Job Description

The Management Accountant role will involve:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Journals accruals and prepayments
• Assistance with financial reporting to Group
• Financial analysis of variances to budget using Excel to manipulate various data sets
• Business partnering with internal stakeholders
• Bank and Balance Sheet reconciliations

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful Management Accountant will be studying for their professional qualification and ideally have completed a few exams in either ACCA or CIMA. Knowledgeable in month end routines with exposure to preparing sets of management accounts would be required. Strong communication skills, personable with the ability to engage with non finance staff is also sought by my client. Finally good IT skills combined with intermediate ability on Excel (vlook ups/pivots) is required with any experience on Sage 1000 being highly desireable.
