Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be supporting the finance team, in so performing the following responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly consolidated financial reports for the parent company and international subsidies. Preparation of monthly balance sheet GL reconciliations
Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts and analysing (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash flow)
Assist with cash flow analysis and treasury management. Cost centre analysis providing commentary for improvement where
Ensuring compliance with group financial and management accounting policies procedures and controls
Business unit reporting including but not limited to; reporting on sales, P&L performance, and inventory management across our retail and wholesale business
Assist with the implementation and review of business process with the view of creating efficiencies and improvements
Assist with the prepare annual budgets in liaison with key stakeholders for the parent company and international subsidiaries
Assist with AP, AR and Payroll, management of fixed asset accounting and analysis
Assist with tax reporting which include processing tax returns, FBT returns and BAS returns. Timely preparation, review and submission of local, statutory and legal reporting requirements
Support for senior management on ad hoc matters as they arise; Drive transparency and awareness of key performance metrics across the business
Ad-hoc projects and further business analysis to ensure continuous value adding within the team
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
CIMA/ACA qualified with strong accounting and analysis skills Experience in the fashion and apparel industry (preferable but not required) Demonstrate effective levels of data analysis skills, process improvement Understanding of best practice finance systems A capacity and desire to support peers in the wider team Excellent oral and written communication Excel - Intermediate to Advanced level Retail and wholesale accounting experience desirable Team focused, driven by success
