Job Description

Seeking a highly professional, motivated and positive person to join their busy finance team as Management Accountant.
Reporting to and working with the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be responsible for ensuring that accurate management reporting is delivered on a timely basis for decision making purposes at all levels of the organisation, as well as assisting the Financial Controller in ensuring that a robust financial control environment is maintained, and processes are as efficient as possible. In addition, they will have direct responsibility for line managing two Accounts Officers, overseeing day-to-day communication and motivation as well as succession planning and performance management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified as a minimum with a work history within a school environment previously, with a strong commercial acumen. Excellent interpersonal, IT, problem solving and time management skills are also essential, as is the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, maintaining excellent attention to detail and accuracy at all times.
