Job Description

The role is based at my Clients Head Office based on the edge of Rochdale. The Assistant Accountant role will report to the Head of Finance Transactions and will work across aspects of Financial and Management Accounting.

Based in busy and fast paced team as the Assistant Accountant you need to be prepared to work unsupervised and make decisions based on the work that you are tasked with.

Specifically you need to be strong across;

• Excel - including Pivot Tables and Formulas
• Cash Flow Reporting - including expected Payments Out and In
• Risk assessment of Cash Flow to the business
• Work with Credit Control to get better control of the Aged Debt
• Review of multiple Bank Accounts in Sterling / US Dollar and Euro
• Review and Report on EC Sales and Intrastate Reports
• Preparation across Month End - including Profit and Loss / Balance Sheet and Journals
• Ad hoc duties as needed
• We need to appoint the Assistant Accountant to start the role wc 11.1.2021.
