Job Description

As the Management Accountant reporting into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for

• Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and management reporting
• Maintain and review budgets and forecasting
• Assist with budget preparation
• Assisting with year-end audit
• Assisting with regulatory reporting, including but not limited to VAT
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Variance analysis with a proactive approach to problem solving
• Assisting with cash management and forecasts

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Be able to work towards tight deadlines to complete the production of management accounts and completing the month end routines Be commercially aware and confident liaising with stakeholders across the business Be ambitious and career driven, wanting to work in a fast paced, creative environment Have an analytical, problem solving mindset with a strong attention to detail Intermediate to advanced excel skills Sage 50 experience desirable Willing to take ownership of key tasks and responsibilities CIMA/ACCA studier however Qualified by experience is also ok
