Public Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a leading and highly progressive firm of Accountants in Central London who have an outstanding opportunity for an Accounts or Business Services Senior to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong background in practice and be experienced in the preparation of year end statutory and management accounts.

The role will involve plenty of client interaction and a good working knowledge of accountancy software such as Quickbooks, Sage and Xero will be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

Managing portfolios of clients
Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Preparation of management accounts
Dealing with ad hoc client queries
Reviewing the work of junior staff
Client meetings

Requirements:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified
ACA/ ACCA Part Qualified/ Finalist also considered
Practice experience is essential
Working knowledge of accounting software programmes such as Sage, QuickBooks & Xero is desirable
