Job Description

Our client is a family business based in in North Manchester and they are now looking to strengthen the finance team.

The opportunity is to become the Finance Manager / Management Accountant, reporting directly to the senior management team.

The focus of the role will be to initially evaluate the current processes and then agree a planned process improvement schedule with the FD.

 

Having worked in manufacturing, you will be able to provide the management team with robust MI and bring to life the management accounts. The focus of the role is all around efficiency and business improvement.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Temporarily due to COVID-19

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Creating board packs. Manufacturing - bill of materials, cost models, stock variances etc. Excellent Excel skills. Process improvement. Qualified or qualified by experience. Statutory reporting. Preparation of management accounts. Experience: Accounting: 3 years (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
