Processing supplier invoices - including matching delivery notes, data entry and posting, recording payments and issuing remittances on Xero.
Purchase and sales ledger reconciliation.
Compiling and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
Compiling and submitting CIS returns to the HMRC.
Credit control - chasing payments.
Bank reconciliations.
The role may also include producing custom reports from Xero and assisting with management accounts.
Working as part of our growing team and reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the necessary skills and knowledge to fulfil the role in a thorough and reliable manner.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will be extremely trustworthy, have a keen eye for detail and accuracy with experience in a similar role, possessing the necessary skills and qualifications to perform the role to an exceptional standard. IT literacy is essential, together with excellent numeracy and English skills, both oral and written. The position would suit a hardworking and committed individual who's looking to progress their career with a forward-thinking company. Experience of Xero would be advantageous, but not essential as training can be provided. Experience: Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
