Job Description

A new role within the Finance team to assist the Financial Accountant and support the Financial Controller as well as the credit and operations teams in a rapidly expanding part of the business. The role has arisen due to the expansion of the business as well as the need for the Financial Accountant to take on extra responsibility from the Financial Controller who has become the business lead on a significant development project. Looking for an individual with strong attentional to detail and good systems skills, especially Excel. The successful candidate will become a key member of the Finance team taking responsibility for transaction level data and reporting. Duties will include; • Monitor the bank accounts and report to the Operations Team on receipts twice a day. Update and maintain Excel bank statement data • Input transactions and prepare the bank reconciliation on the accounting system • Record professional fee invoices on the system and prepare the weekly BACS run of professional fees. Set payments up in the banking system and arrange sign off • Prepare the Weekly Dashboard for presentation to Group (with FA sign off) • Manage the Cash Forecast spreadsheet, collating information from the Relationship team and reconciling to the bank statements. • Monthly preparation of the Enquiry Graphs workbook • Monthly preparation of the Cashbook to agreed timetable • Monthly preparation of the Control Reports Spreadsheet and Graphs • Update and ensure integrity of data on the Data Warehouse monthly • Assist Financial Accountant with information required for periodic audits from company auditors • Prepare Commentary on Expired loans monthly

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
