Job Description

The Financial Accountant position is an important role within the team, with key involvement on financial reporting and for ensuring accounting implications are considered in all commercial, operational and strategic decisions.

Duties will include;

• Support the year-end process of the annual financial statements
• Prepare annual financial statements ensuring they are in compliance with reporting standards
• Prepare regulatory and other external reports
• Provide technical accounting and regulatory reporting insight
• Liaise with external auditors
• Provide information to external audit
• Work closely with other Finance Teams to ensure auditor requests are met
• Produce consolidation and disclosure models

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with strong technical financial accounting skills. Ideal opportunity for a first move from Practice to Industry or to progress from an Industry Financial Accounting role. Forward thinking with an analytical approach. Ability to communicate effectively and partner with senior management and non-finance staff.
