Job Description

• Business partnering internally, building strong relationships across the group
• Producing management accounts for the group including reporting and analysis
• Cash flow control, working capital management and creation of KPI reporting
• Managing stock and margin across the business
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Implementing new processes and robust procedures within finance
• Overseeing transaction processing systems and accounting operations for all business subsidiaries
• Calculating variance from budgets and reporting on changes to management
• Ensure all finance duties are completed for month end - delegating and leading a small finance team
• Assisting Finance Director in creating the company’s future direction, developing new measures to support growth
• Creating new and improved systems and processes including reporting and data analysis
• Completing financial statements and MI, presenting at board meetings regularly
• Providing financial analysis for capital investments, pricing decisions and contract negotiations
• Coordinating external auditors for audits, complying with all tax regulation filings
• Maintaining bank and stakeholder relationships

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Self-motivated, ambitious and forward thinking Financial Controller. Experience of process improvement and driving change within a business. Strong relationship builder and the ability to operate at board level. Strong Excel and IT knowledge.
