Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will support in the provision of the financial accounting, reporting and bookkeeping for the business. Sage experience in this role is essential.
Responsibilities:
Manage day to day ledger's and ensure accuracy of postings - Including cash postings and bank recs
Support/lead the month end close process and reconciliations
Support system activity (Sage Line 200)
Support internal management reporting.
Maintain effective internal control environment and procedural compliance
Support external statutory and taxation reporting requirements
Payment run management
Balance sheet reconciliation ownership and resolution of queries
Payroll reconciliations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Sage experience is essential (Sage Line 200 preferential) Part Qualified accountant (ideally ACA/ACCA)- must be studying for qualification Experience of preparing statutory accounts and completion of VAT and tax returns TB and balance sheet experience A sound understanding of the month end process.
