Job Description

As the Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including variance analysis.
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts and working with budget holders to ensure minimal variance.
• Financial planning and analysis.
• Play a key role during year-end statutory reporting.
• Project accounting including supporting with financial elements of bids and tenders.
• Margin analysis and stock reporting.
• Daily use of bespoke ERP system and Microsoft Excel.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Accountant will possess at least one years’ post qualifying experience (CA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) and be looking to secure a move which will offer clear scope for progression and sustained professional growth. You will have demonstrated a strong work ethic in your career to date and be confident engaging with stakeholders of both a financial and non-financial persuasion.
