Job Description

This is a superb role for a highly organised and pro-active person who has good communication skills along with great attention to detail. This is a newly created role within an expanding finance team reporting directly to the Finance Director. The role would suit a new qualified / trainee accountant or an experienced accountant.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining supplier ledger, multi-currency, creditor reconciliations.

• Bank transactions (multi-currency)
• Performing bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Payment runs
• Cash flow forecasting
• Monthly CIS return to HMRC
• Ad-hoc finance/accounting related projects

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience working as a bookkeeper processing a high volume of transactions (required) Experience working in the construction industry (required) Experience of Project Accounting required. Highly organised with great attention to detail Ability to develop effective and supportive relationships with colleagues Highly proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Experience with accounting software (required)
