Job Description

Deputies for the QHSE Manager and primarily responsible for QA contract review, review of customer specifications, and generation of ITP’s, and amendments to ITP’s. QA Final inspection of completed valves as required.

Principal Duties:

  • Enquiry and order review for quality requirements.
  • Generation and amendment of Inspection and Test Plans and Quality plans.
  • Attending and contributing at customer meetings, Bid clarifications and order kick-off meetings.
  • Ensuring certification and documentation is supplied in accordance with customer requirements.
  • QA Final inspection of completed valves including Subsea Choke Valves, and API Monogrammed Valves.
  • QA internal and customer interface for product realization.
  • Maintain consistent interface with all departments.
  • QA Supplier and Internal audits to relevant ISO and Industry standards.
  • Deputies for the QHSE Manager

Other Duties:

  • PMI and Ferrite testing
  • Assistance with review and update of QHSE procedures and working instructions.
  • Assistance with the Completion, Control, Review, Monitoring and Resolution of Customer Complaints, Preventative and Corrective Actions, Improvement Processes, Systems and Projects, Supplier non-conformances and Internal non-conformances.
  • Assistance when requested with the Development, Review and Control of Customer Audits, Third Party Audits, Customer and Supplier Interface, Communication and Specification and Certification and Documentation.
  • Review and maintenance of welding procedures and qualifications in line with international standards and customer specifications.
  • Assistance with Maintenance of the QMS with regards to ISO 9000, API Accreditation and PED Approval
  • Assistance with data analysis of QA related statistics and performance measures and review of Non-conformance data
  • Compliance with Company Standards, Policies and Procedures.
  • Assisting with the achievement, recording, monitoring and measurement of QHSE KPIs.
  • Assisting colleagues within the department at busy periods and during vacations.
  • Other duties as required by the department.

This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A very good understanding of materials and manufacturing processes. Knowledge and understanding of relevant codes and standards i.e. ASME, NACE, API, ASTM, PED. High level of computer literacy. Problem solving skills. Effective communicator at all levels. Self-motivated. Organizational ability. FMEA and 8D would be an advantage. Degree in relevant subject. 4-5 years work experience. Internal Auditor trained. Experience: Quality Assurance: 4 years (Required)
