This successful candidate will work extensively with senior operations of the company, dealing with a number of significant contracts within the organisation. The role of the Senior Financial Accountant is one of reporting, analysis, business partnering, and managing risk. The finance team also communicates with internally with management and operations.
Full responsibility for day to day finance activities for significant company contracts
Analysis of same and reporting to Senior Finance and Operations Management
Developing key working relationships and reporting tools with Senior site managers
Budget/forecasting of contracts ensuring budget targets are being adhered to and met
Management of working capital of contracts
Developing and setting targets or action plans where necessary
Internal control including external audit
Management of all aspects of balance sheet in relation to designated contracts
Payroll (weekly and monthly)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Accountancy Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) Experience working within a similar environment would be beneficial Strong interpersonal skills Strong IT/Systems skills (SAP/Google would be advantageous) Strong communication skills Results focused individual with a proactive positive rapport
