A leading local company based in Bradford are looking to recruit an accountant to join their finance team. This is a newly created role and an exciting time to join as the business has ambitious growth plans, incredibly passionate and invest in their employees. You will work with and support key figures within the business and provide timely and accurate financial and management information.
Accountabilities:
Reporting directly into the Financial Controller you will ensure the accurate processing, recording and completion of all accounts information from the senior management team. You will oversee the responsibilities for the accounts assistants and have full accountability of the budgeted financial and operational objectives from the company. You will ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled, produce regular reports such as debtor reports, payroll submissions and cleanse and reconcile the profit reports.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

An accountancy qualification or working towards one, you will be a self-starter, ability to take initiative, work well under pressure and manage key priorities. Previous experience of working in an accounting role including understanding of invoices, credit notes, payment methods and VAT. You will have the ability to demonstrate a hands on approach and who wants to be part of and instrumental to the growth of the business.
