Your new role
The Management Accountant will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, cash-flow forecasting, budget preparation and continuous improvement. This role will deputise for the Head of Finance and will support across monthly reporting, VAT and Payroll. You will also maintain the Fixed Asset Register and records of finance leases and process all transactions in relation to assets. You will assist with the preparation of schedules for the year end audit and identify and lead on finance service improvement and business modernisation projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will be a fully qualified accountant with strong communication and partnering skills. Experience across financial and management accounting functions would be desirable alongside a pro-active approach and ability to analyse processes. ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. For this you will require excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload. You should be competent in IT packages and the use of the BACS systems. You will also have the ability to discuss and present financial information to non-finance professionals.
