Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a key project moving the organisation from Exchequer to QuickBooks and supporting the Financial Controller (FC) and her team during a six-month period of transformation. You will also be involved with:

• accounts and financial forecast preparation (including quarterly management accounts, accounts for year ending December 2020, and financial forecasts for year ending December 2021)
• assisting the FC in completing a thorough VAT review and implementing any resulting changes
• deputising for the FC as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will hold a recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, AAT), or demonstrable equivalent experience, and have IT skills (including Microsoft Office) to a high standard. You will have a good understanding of QuickBooks having used this package extensively and your career in Finance will also have involved preparing Year End Accounts (including Trial Balance). Strong communication, interpersonal, team and numeracy skills are essential along with a professional, courteous and positive manner.
