Job Description

MacKenzie King are currently recruiting a Senior Technical Accountant on behalf of a global business in Ipswich. This is a 12 month contract due to a project and will report into the Statutory Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager, you will work within a team that supports the technical accounting function for the UK Group. It will play a pivotal role in ensuring each UK entity meets its statutory reporting obligations by providing support to year end reporting processes.

Key accountabilities will include:

- Assisting in the preparation of statutory financial accounts of each UK entity in accordance with relevant accounting standards, achieving audit clearance and submission to the Boards in line with agreed timetables.

- Assisting in the creation and delivery of a programme of independent audits of balance sheet reconciliations performed across all entities.

- Ensuring processes identified are in scope of IFC are compliant and the necessary documentation is accurately maintained.

You will be a qualified accountant who has trained in practice ideally as audit experience will be an advantage. You will have a proven track record within regulatory reporting and be keen to work within a team of like minded people who strive to excel.
