Job Description

As a Financial Accountant you will take responsibility for maintenance of the UK General Ledger, production of the UK month end and year end accounts and be the key point of contact with the auditors.

• Maintaining control over financial accounting data, and accounting procedures to ensure monthly and annual accounts meet group and audit scrutiny.
• Production of monthly and annual accounts on a timely basis.
• Maintain current technical knowledge eg Financial reporting Standards, VAT legislation.
• Advising and supporting the business on technical financial matters.
• Maintaining key relationships with external and internal stakeholders eg external auditors.
• Management of 1 direct report
