Due to the continued success of the business, our client seeks a Senior Accountant to support the business Finance Director.

You will be tasked with the preparation of the financial ledgers, cashflow forecasting, aged debt reporting and production of financial and management accounts. The Senior Accountant will assist in the preparation of budget and forecast and provide the management information needed in order to drive business performance.

The Senior Accountant will prepare the monthly management accounts and ad hoc management information as needed from time to time by the business such as cash flow forecasting including subsidiaries. Responsibilities will also include the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, such as fixed assets, prepayment, accruals, accrued income, intercompany and longer-term provision balances. Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and sales lists as well as the statutory accounts and audit information whilst liaison with external auditors.

Our client seeks a hands on accountant with previous experience working within a fast paced and detailed environment. You will possess an inquisitive mindset, be enthusiastic and a team player with the ability to take ownership of problems and seek to propose solutions.
