Job Description

We are looking for a part time bookkeeper to join our expanding business. Our company strives to make our clients lives easier by taking care of their day to day bookkeeping in a professional and efficient manner.

The role will involve carrying out bookkeeping at our clients premises, in our offices and remotely so the candidate will need to be reliable and present their selves in a professional manner as they will be a direct representative of our company.

We are a small friendly bookkeeping company who pride ourselves on our reputation of providing an excellent service to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate offering responsibility, variety and challenges.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful Candidate should have knowledge of the following: Payroll. Self-Assessments. Tax Returns. VAT Returns. Construction Industry Scheme. Credit Control. Accounting packages Sage Business Cloud Accounting and Xero being the most used ones however knowledge of other packages would be advantageous. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel. We are looking to get the right candidate started as soon as possible as the work is currently coming in at a fast pace. Full Driving License. Good Communication Skills. Good and confident telephone manner as you will no doubt have to have contact with HMRC. Good organizational skills. Good attention to detail. Self-Motivated. Proactive, confident and flexible. Experience: Bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred). QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred).
