Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join our busy and expanding Finance Team based at our Head Office. In this role you will oversee the daily operations of the accounts functions and, when required, step in to complete any necessary transactions personally.
Key Responsibilities
To oversee the Sales and Purchase Ledgers
To produce the P&L with variance analyses
To complete the balance sheet reconciliation
To oversee and complete the bank reconciliation
To prepare the journals for accrual and pre-payment
To prepare the journals for weekly and monthly payrolls
To complete the statement reconciliations for invoice finance
To oversee payroll and, when it is occasionally required, to directly input into/process payroll
To create the annual budgets and monitor against the actual P&L
Preparation of other reports as requested by the Directors

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
This role will suit someone who oversees accounts, but is happy to step in and carry out transactional activities as and when required. A good knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping. Experience of SAGE 200 would be beneficial.
