Job Description

In this Manchester based Senior Accountant job you will be responsible for the preparation of year-end financial statements and the corporation tax computations for a range of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies with turnovers into the millions. On top of this, you will prepare management accounts, take responsibility for liaising with clients and being a key point of contact and carry out some ad hoc VAT & bookkeeping work.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The firm are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Accountant who has strong experience working within practice preparing year end accounts from incomplete records for a range of clients. You will need past experience with VAT and bookkeeping and any past experience with management accounts would be desirable. The software you will be using is Xero and Sage, experience with either of these software's would be desirable. In order to undertake this Senior Accountant job you will also need to possess good communication skills to enable you to liaise and build relationships with clients and your team.
