Job Description

Our Client Management Team are looking for a Data & Finance Administrator to join their team in Birmingham. You will provide Carter Jonas with an efficient centralized service to maximize success with tenders, provide an advantage over competitors and ensure client specific KPIs are met. The key focus of this role is data analysis, data manipulation and data extraction.

MAIN TASKS:

  • Processing invoices
  • Invoice tracking
  • Liaising with clients, job Managers and credit control to manage bad debts
  • Maintaining Client Dashboards
  • Providing support to the team with streamlining processes and reporting
  • Data Analysis
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure smooth accounting
  • Assisting with Monthly/Quarterly and Yearly reporting
  • Management of the sub-contractor database ensuring all compliance, health and safety and indemnity documents are valid.
  • Oversee the accuracy of the Framework client database liaising with Business Development team to ensure new clients are set up correctly and that all Framework clients are clearly identified and reported against.
  • Identify invoices from sub-contractors which have no supporting compliance documentation, request the relevant partner/administrator to provide the documentation before any payment is made.
  • Complete end of month audit of all invoices raised against the Framework contracts to identify any supplier/client that is not on the database and liaise with the relevant person to establish how the client should be managed.
  • Audit of suppliers to ensure compliance with the Carter Jonas approved supplier policy.

This role is 37.5 hours per week 9:00 - 17:30, however we are open to a degree of flexible working.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will need strong IT skills with advanced Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables, Vlookup, advanced formatting and filtering/conditional formatting). Experience of analyzing and manipulating large amounts of data, dealing with invoicing, credit control and purchase orders is advantageous. You must be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage client relationships. A strong team player, you need the ability to work in a fast paced environment, comfortable with multi-tasking and working under pressure to meet deadlines in a professional manner.
