Job Description

In this role, you will manage contractual activities associated with a number of contracts/customer accounts so to ensure compliance with the agreed contractual obligations between Moog and its customers.

  • Full sales order cycle from uploading customer orders onto the MRP system, following up activity through to providing customer updates on the progress
  • Review of contractual terms within purchase orders, ensuring compliance and consistency with agreed terms, highlighting any discrepancies
  • Utilizing the CRM system to track quotations to customers and producing reports to leadership as well as coordinating with other departments across the business to establish lead times, prices and logistics
  • Managing of a number of different customers web-based portals in order to retrieve customer orders, providing updated delivery forecasts
  • Assisting the Team Lead and Contracts Manager with the preparation and submission of proposals to customers
  • In the absence or in support of the Programme Manager, act as the single point of contact for the company
  • Foreign and domestic travel may be required to support customer meetings/negotiations

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge and application of UK and US Government conditions, i.e. DEFCONs and FARs and DFARS. Understanding and application of contract provisions such as warranties, remedies, technical data rights. Experience of using MRP and ERP systems, ideally SAP from order creation to closeout.
