A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and highly enthusiastic administrator to support the operational management team within obstetrics and gynecology. Applicants should have the essential requirements outlined in the person specification, with excellent organizational skills and be able to work with a minimum of supervision. The role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively communicate with a wide range of people at all levels, both internal and external to the Trust.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will have a professional communication style and will work closely with senior managers, clinical leads, senior nursing leads, operational management teams, medical secretaries and other departments across the organization. You will have proven organizational abilities and be able to efficiently forward plan. You will be a self-starter and have the ability to perform both autonomously and as part of a team. You will need to be able to manage and priorities a highly detailed and, at times, complex workload and have the ability to work and respond well under pressure. Attention to detail is a must. You will possess excellent I.T. skills and be especially proficient using Microsoft Excel. Experience of the NHS is desirable. An understanding of performance waiting time standards; National Cancer Waiting Times, 18-weeks Referral-to-Treatment and targets within elective care pathways will be an advantage. You will have a flexible approach to your work. You will need to be able to quickly respond to operational issues and unforeseen challenges that require immediate and prompt resolution to support continued and smooth running of our services. To be considered for this role you should have a minimum of 3-years recent experience working as an administrator. You will be educated to GCSE Grade C or recognized equivalent in English Language and Mathematics.
