- Extensive Experience of working in UK accountancy practice
- Strong skills in Bookkeeping, VAT, Accounts and Tax
- Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge and experience of VT+, Quickbooks, Moneysoft or similar softwares
- Experience of dealing with HMRC
- Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer service focus
- Excellent numeracy skills and financial awareness
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Capacity to work under pressure

Job Description
- Running the payrolls for clients and liaising with HMRC to resolve queries
- Enrolling clients into a pension scheme and liaising with the pension provider and the Pensions Regulator
- Completing CIS returns
- General bookkeeping duties
- Completing self-assessment tax returns for clients
- Complete VAT returns for clients
- Completion of on-line submissions to HMRC and Companies House
- Organising and updating relevant data using various applications
- Any other general accounts and administration duties as and when required
