They are currently seeking a qualified accountant to join their team on a fixed term contract basis as a Senior Client Accountant.
THE ROLEwill include but not be limited to:
Reviewing ground rents and the collection of related income.
Reviewing and monitoring client bank accounts ready for authorisation.
Assisting with the preparation of annual service charge accounts.
Preparing void schedules and forecasts ready for freeholders on a monthly basis.
Preparing monthly VAT reports to be submitted to the client accounts team.
Ensuring accounting records are managed and adjusted for accuracy.
Preparing quarterly reports on budgeted and actual spending for relevant company departments.
Conducting internal audits of accounting systems and procedures and suggest improvements.
Supporting and managing key external relationships including portfolio managers, general managers and sales teams.
Ensuring client/leaseholder queries are dealt with in timely manner.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
YOU will be ACCA / ACA /MAAT qualified with strong service charge experience gained through practice or in a residential management company. It is essential that you are detail orientated and a highly organised team player, who can work under pressure and be willing to help and support junior accountants. Good knowledge and experience using of a range of property management systems is also desired as is reconciliation experience.
