Job Description

This is a field based role with the site based in Warrington. Given the nature of the role, travel should be expected both in the UK and at times globally.
Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the tracking of projects tracking, progress reports and the follow up both internally and externally.
  • Maintain and renew existing certificates, ensuring database updates and processing purchase orders.
  • Write detailed application reports (recording batch numbers, climatic conditions, applied thicknesses per day etc.)
  • Discuss new development products with the R & D laboratory on their application conditions along with providing feedback once applied.
  • Ensure the preparation of good quality test specimens, making sure that relevant tools, equipment, PPE are available well in advance of project start.
  • Inspect the specimen condition, correct batch numbers & products to be applied, ensure all products have been stored accurately, rejecting if required and stopping the application when needed.
  • Provide product application training/demonstrations for customers.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A strong, technical administrative background with proven word, excel and PowerPoint skills. A practical aptitude and willingness to operate machinery such as spray equipment/compressors/hand tools used for coating application as well as inspection equipment – full training will be given. (This is not essential on application). Ideally some knowledge of surface preparation mainly in mild steel. The ability to communicate optimally and build relationships both internally and externally!
