Job Description

Being a key point of contact for day to day communication with valued customers, the successful candidate is expected to maintain positive working relations with both clients and site operational and management teams. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9-5pm.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Manage all customer orders for dispatch to the required service level
  • Ensure all customer receipts are administered on to the WMS within the timelines set with customer.
  • Ensure all damages/ stock adjustments are recorded and reported to the customer.
  • Manage all customer collections to the required service levels.
  • Provide Pod’s and other information to the customer as requested in a timely fashion.
  • Monitor all processes are being followed for ensuring accuracy for the customer.
  • Follow all site rules and H&S requirements as per standards.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships at relevant levels.
  • Identify areas of additional cost experienced by the operation relating to customer requests and report to your Line Manager.
  • Ensure Housekeeping standards for your working environment are maintained.
  • Ensure that good levels of communication are maintained with customers at all times.
  • Manage customer archiving to deliver a best in class overview for auditing.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent communication. Microsoft Office packages – Excel & Word. Experience of WMS (SAP/ ORACLE/DLX). Experience of Transport Management Systems. Experience of dealing with transport Networks. Strong customer service background. Flexible.
