Job Description

The Management Accountant will report into an impressive and driven Financial Controller and will receive a salary of up to £45,000 per annum.

The duties of the Management Accountant include but are not limited to:

-       Preparation of monthly management accounts including full analysis and completion of reporting schedules

-       Management of cost centre analysis

-       Business partnering cost centre managers to articulate financial reports and performance indicators

-       Supporting project accounting by supporting project leaders with costing, project performance vs budget, project analysis, revenue recognition and flash reports

-       Responsible for CAPEX reporting

-       Supporting with year-end statutory accounting processes

-       Production of detailed reports and analysis to support business plans

-       Ad-Hoc duties when required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

-       Ideally be at least a part-qualified accountant ideally in the latter stages of studies however fully qualified status is desired (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) -       Have at least 3 year’s experience of working within a similar role, having exposure to month end accounting processes – Ideally taking a lead on month end processes -       Be a progressive and driven individual who is looking for a role with growth and exposure -       Be a self-starter and be able to self-motivate
