Hours: 9.00am - 5.30 (opportunity for flexible hours in the future)

Job Description:

A fun global IT Managed Services company based near Moorgate station, requires an experienced Bookkeeper to support our front and back-office functions. Reporting to the MD and Sales Director, you will have previously worked within a medium sized finance function with responsibility for some of the range of outlined responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Xero, have excellent Excel skills and be confident dealing with internal and external key stakeholders with both financial and non-financial information.

The Role: This is a varied position as we are looking for someone who can manage the company’s finance whilst also bringing idea’s and new processes to the wider business as a whole.

Your general responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Excellent knowledge of Xero
In-house Payroll
Staff commissions
Profit and Loss
Managing the Timesheet system
Paying sub-contractors and dealing with enquiries
Dealing with customer queries
Creating and updating spreadsheets of daily transactions
Able to understand Excel Spreadsheets to an advanced level
Invoicing & monitoring purchase Orders
Entering all supplier bills and paying
Collecting money
Intermediary reporting
Quarterly Vat returns
Compliance
Managing the company master tracking spreadsheet
Reconciling factoring accounts each month
Monitoring company credit cards

Knowledge & Experience:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A strong administrator with accurate data entry and attention to detail
Highly numerate with an excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
