Job Description
This role would suit an experienced Management Accountant who is well accustomed to having final responsibility for mgmt. accs production and commentary / analysis, alongside financial reporting with sound understanding of IFRS. This person will lead from the front and ensure reports are completed in an efficient timely manner with valuable insight. They will also have involvement at board reporting level and play a key role in key busines decisions.

Overview of role:
- Preparation of company Financial Statements and four other group subsidiaries using Financial Reporting Standard 102
- Keeping up to date with technical knowledge to ensure accurate reporting in line with accounting standards
- Preparation of audit working papers to support Financial Statements
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and working papers
- Annual budget preparation and monthly re- forecasting
- Management of intercompany transactions between five group companies
- Supervision, training and development of accounts assistants
- Preparing and reporting relevant financial information on a timely basis for management
- Continuous monitoring and improvement/implementation of financial systems and processes
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Processing monthly payroll and dealing with related HMRC matters
- Managing sales and purchase ledger including direct debit collection processes
- Managing company cash, supervising the processing of all bank reconciliations and company payments
- Closely monitoring outstanding debtor balances and supervision of credit control
- General company financial administration including filings with Companies House and ad hoc tasks required by management
- Preparation of business plans and forecasting for member companies
