Job Description

• Analyse Financial and Business data to assess and challenge performance, and to assist management decision making.
• Produce key reports, daily, weekly, and monthly, and insightful commentary as appropriate in a timely and accurate manner to support business operations and performance management.
• As a Business Partner to the Sales and Operations teams, assist in activities ranging from new business development though to performance improvement.
• Work with the wider Finance team to develop improved, insightful information to support business goals.
• Support monthly financial forecasting and annual budgeting process.
• Manage elements of the balance sheet and support wider month end activities, including transaction processing, account reconciliation and control, and insightful commentary.
• Assist wider Finance team and act as support to broader Finance activities eg Sales & Purchase ledger
• Great opportunities to be involved in a range of development projects, including ERP implementation.

Experience of working in a manufacturing environment and familiarity, with standard costing preferred. Excellent Excel capability essential, other MS capabilities advantageous Process and systems orientated, with ERP or other systems experience or a keen interest to develop. Experience in FMCG advantageous The role will ideally suit a CIMA / ACCA studier with ambition to develop their career in Finance.
