Job Description

We are looking for receptionists to join our friendly and supportive team to cover the day to day service.
The post-holder will work in a team of reception staff within the practice. They will receive and assist patients and direct them to the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way. They will project a positive and friendly image to visitors, both in person and on the telephone.
The post-holder should have previous experience of working with the general public and be able to work without constant supervision.
In addition to general reception duties the post-holder will undertake administrative duties as required.
This is an exciting opportunity and time to join the reception team in a forward thinking, developing, busy GP surgeries. We are looking for individuals who want to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Candidates will ideally have receptionist experience who can work well as part of a busy team or their own. Computer skills and service excellence skills are essential. We are looking for candidates who have excellent communication skills, a compassionate and friendly nature, together with the ability to work in a demanding environment and an aptitude for great customer service. You will provide a high quality reception service to patients, doctors and colleagues to support the smooth clinical operations of the organization.
