Main Responsibilities

• Preparation of month end management accounts including analysis of variances to budget and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Preparation of reports for Board members.
• Preparation of annual budgets and development of robust forecasts for profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Assistance in the preparation of financial statements, yearend processes and liaison with auditors.
• Tight management of working capital and processing of payments
• Suggesting and implementing improvements.
• Calculation and management of supplier and customer rebate schemes.
• Preparation of returns for HMRC including VAT and Intrastat.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience Required Experience as a Management Accountant preferably within a large distribution or wholesale sector Strong stock background working with a high number of SKU’s Advanced Excel Experience of using Microsoft Navision (Preferred) Experience working in a fast-paced environment Proactive and inquisitive nature Qualifications Required Ideally you will be a qualified accountant or studying towards your ACCA/CIMA/ACA. However qualified by experience candidates will be considered.
