My client, a Leading Property Investment firm is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their growing business. You will sit within the Group Function where you will support the consolidation of all the business entities management accounts alongside supporting ongoing financial projects.
As a Senior Management Accountant, you have a direct exposure to Business Partnering, Forecasting and Budgeting. Other duties will consist of:
Take ownership and prepare monthly management accounts (Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet) for the real estate part of the business (c.50 entities)
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, tracking transactions and resolving any discrepancies promptly
Support the review of intercompany transactions including leases with the operations
Support the set-up of new entities through development, incorporation and operation
Actively participate in the year-end audit
Drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures to support growth
Provide ad hoc reporting to support management decision-making; and
Good understanding of internal controls
Review of posting of revenue and service charge managed by 3rd party property managers
Review of revenue and service charged managed internally
Prepare and post accounting entries such as accruals and deferrals each month
Liaise with Real Estate stakeholders in the business (i.e Asset Management, Property Management)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Candidates will be able to demonstrate strong organistaional skills, the ability to adapt to a changing environment and a strong ability to deliver to deadlines. Candidates will be a Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA with previous experience in Financial or Management accounting.
