Job Description

Leading FMCG service provider based in Leeds currently requires a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or part qualified Management Accountant to join their finance function in a newly created role.
You will be responsible for producing weekly and monthly accounts as well as budget and ongoing forecasts in the areas of the business you are supporting. You will be a point of contact for a number of specific business units, assisting with commercial matters such as pricing, business analysis, contract reviews and budget management. Working within a dynamic finance function and a team of experienced accountants your duties will include:

*Preparation, review and analysis of accurate and timely management accounts including commentary
*Consolidation of group accounts
*Balance sheet reviews Monthly/Quarterly
*VAT Return
*Supporting yearend audit
*Continual review and improvement of procedures and key controls
*Business partnering with different business areas
*Budget management
*Ad hoc projects and reporting

Candidate Requirements:
*Hold an accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or be part qualified studying towards full qualification.
*Have excellent communication skills and experience with dealing with non-financial stakeholders.
*Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
*Excellent Excel skills

Ideally you will have experience within a Senior Management Accountant position. Consideration will also be given to anyone from a practice background looking to make their first move into industry.
