Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a QS to move in to a Commercial Auditor role.

• Undertake site reviews within business units to challenge cost assumptions and report deficiencies or risks currently not considered. This will require visiting the sites and business units.
• To act as an advocate of the Cost Verification and ensure compliance to mandatory controls.
• Promote and share best practice across the group and help support group commercial in raising awareness of controls and drive consistency across the group.
• Deliver Commercial Audit reports that provide clear, realistic and recommendations for improvement.
• Follow up with business units to ensure deficiencies are rectified and clear ownership is established.
• Support Head of Commercial Audit and Group Commercial Director in raising awareness of specific and group-wide issues.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Trainee/ Graduate/ Assistant QS with 1-5+ years QS experience and an interest in transitioning in to an Commercial Auditor role en-route potentially to a Commercial Operations role in the future.
You must hold a UK driving licence and be happy, when we return to normal operations, to travel around 30% of the time within the UK, At the moment the role will be working remotely with no travel and will return to a hybrid flexible working arrangement in the future.

You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels both within the company and externally.Flexible working options available. Training will be given in Internal Audit areas.
