The key responsibilities of this Internal Auditor role are as follows:

  • Take the lead on delivering end-to-end audit cycles across a range of organisational departments and functions, reviewing how they are run and making recommendations for areas of improvement.
  • Undertake occasional international travel to the charity’s in-country offices to conduct spot-checks and risk assessments on active projects.
  • Full responsibility for producing detailed reports for non-financial stakeholders and presenting findings to the Trustees and the Finance Committee as required.
  • Play a leading role in the migration and development of the charity’s new finance software, ensuring it is working as efficiently as possible and in line with compliance standards.
  • Provide invaluable support in the year-end audit process and take complete ownership of the donor auditing procedure.

This opportunity is for an innovative, forward-thinking charity and offers a brilliant opportunity for candidates looking to take ownership in a stand alone role within a rapidly growing, complex establishment.
