Job Description

Experience within a Food Production setting along with strong knowledge of BRC standards and Lead Auditor qualification is essential for this role.

• Ensure legal compliance in respect to internal auditing, external auditing including adherence to Industry Codes of Practice e.g. British Retail Consortium, Customer Code of Practice and 3rd parties' certifications
• Lead TACCP working group
• Effectively manage the Company's internal regulatory audit function
• Support the Technical Team during external audits
• Manage closure of points raised from external audits i.e. customer, regulatory etc.
• Ensure compliance to the British Retail Consortium Standard, Customer Codes of Practice, and 3rd parties' certifications (Halal, Kosher, Fairtrade…)
• Manage the TACCP working Group

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experienced Lead Auditor Previous experience in a Compliance based role Degree educated with ability to learn desirable Knowledge / understanding of British Retail Consortium for Food Safety Knowledge in process auditing or similar analytical skills Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar function /transferable skills Due to the location of this position you will need to have your own transport.
