Job Description

This is a newly created vacancy and the opportunity to join a medium sized finance team. You will be responsible for:
- Acting as a key business partner to a wide range of stakeholders, both within finance and cross-functionality
- Assist with the preparation, review and communication of financial result to strict deadlines
- Working closely with the Finance Manager to understand the impact of operational performance on UK result
- KPI analysis and reporting
- Assisting with the preparation and review of annual budgets in accordance with group timeframe
- Apply a continuous improvement ethos towards all processes and assist with the development and redesign of various reporting and analysis tools
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with internal controls
- Liaising with both internal and external auditors
- Acting as key support for fellow finance team members, providing cover as required
- Acting as the financial lead on various cross functional projects as required
- Other ad hoc analysis and reporting as required

This is a full-time position, working 8.30 - 5, Monday to Friday
Currently working at home due to COVID guidance, offer for hybrid working pattern

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

In order to be considered for interview you will: - Be fully qualified or part qualified (CIMA/ACCA), qualified by experience with strong technical ability could be considered - Have experience of working in a commercial environment - Have strong analytical skills, with proven track record of problem solving - Have high level of accuracy and attention to detail - Be a self-starter who can work on own initiative - Have the ability to manage multiple activities and prioritise in order to meet tight deadlines - Have excellent IT skills - experience of SAP would be advantageous - Have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a wide range of stakeholders
