Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator/ Junior Paraplanner to join a growing financial services practice with an outstanding reputation, located in Birmingham City Centre.

The successful candidate will understand and appreciate the importance of relationship building and networking and will have exceptional drive and determination as well as being methodical and hard working.

You will take on a broad range of responsibilities including communication with product providers and clients by telephone, post and e-mail, obtaining product information, entering and maintaining the accuracy of client data assisting financial advisers in preparing for and documenting client appointments and financial advice services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing effective commercial relationships as well as maintaining an excellent rapport with existing and prospective clients
  • Liaison with product providers, consultants and clients and handling all on going servicing queries
  • Establishing and maintaining files and records – data management to operate the company's CRM and workflow management systems
  • Establishing and maintaining files and records
  • Creating and maintaining clients' records
  • Production and accurate interpretation of illustrations
  • Creating and maintaining a database of charges
  • Product and provider research
  • Producing suitability reports
  • Assist the Advisers in preparation for client meetings, and documenting Financial Advice Services provided, excluding any aspects of analysis, research, and recommendations that are the specific responsibility of the Advisers
  • Keeping up to date with relevant Financial Conduct Authority regulations and always maintaining confidentiality

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience working within a financial services firm/environment and natural ability to develop rapport with staff, existing and potential clients, both in person and on the telephone.
