Job Description

The role will involve responsibility for providing administrative support to senior staff in applying the school’s HR policies and procedures covering the full range of HR specialties to include; recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, attendance management and staff health, safety and wellbeing. You will also be responsible for administering and coordinating the update of school policies and. procedures in line with current legislation, ensuring that these are updated on the school website and other relevant external websites to maintain compliance, as well as ensuring that appropriate records and data storage requirements are monitored and updated in line with GDPR and other. Government legislation.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to be proficient in IT and MS Office and have a strong commitment to school improvement. Outstanding organizational skills, a methodical approach to work and prioritization, excellent record keeping skills, and attention to detail are key. Teamwork and collaboration, the ability to maintain confidentiality and professional but friendly relations with parents and colleagues at all times are equally important. You will be of degree caliber or equivalent and have a minimum of grade C in GCSE English and Math. A keen interest in or commitment to Steiner Waldorf education and a willingness to undertake further job appropriate training and development is welcomed.
